The Great Backyard Bird Count 2010
|
|
From February 12-15, 2009, people across the nation will be counting birds to
create a real-time snapshot of where birds are across the continent through the
Great Backyard Bird Count. Take part in the fun by attending the Great Backyard
Bird Count event on Saturday, February 13 at The Inn at Hudson Gardens. Hosted
in conjunction with the Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory, the day’s events will
include bird hikes, bird identification and citizen science talks with expert
birders, and will culminate with compilation of data and submission to the GBBC
website. This event is open to guests of all ages and birding expertise.
