Elemental Energy

The Museum Of Outdoor Arts delivers Elemental Energy: Earth, Air, Fire, Water is "...a site-specific land art exhibit built to interact with the sun, wind, rain, and light." Seven installations by eight artists bring a whole new dimension to The Gardens for 12 months. Free with regular admission.

The Herb Society of America, Rocky Mountain Unit, presents its annual Herb Fair from 12:00 noon until 4:00 pm. Come for herbal demonstrations, talks, displays, garden tours, herbal products for sale, food and tea samples, and children's activities.

Celebrate the Fall harvest Colorado style! The Hudson Gardens & Event Center Oktoberfest Celebration will feature beer, brats, German music and dancing. Schuhplattlers and traditional German children's games make this an unforgettable family event! 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM - adult admission $6, children $4.

the Shirley Sherwood Collection of Contemporary Botanical Illustrations at the Denver Art Museum

As a Rocky Mountain chill settles over Colorado, a new exhibition at the Denver Art Museum will give its visitors a breath of spring. An exhibition of 150 colorful and meticulously detailed paintings of plants from all over the world can be seen in Contemporary Botanical Art: The Shirley Sherwood Collection from November 2, 2002 to January 12, 2003.

Winter at The Gardens

The Gardens are open 365 days a year, and, as an added bonus, there is no admission charge from November through April! Garden hours are 9 AM to 5 PM, seven days a week. Bring your camera and snap away - The Gardens are especially photographic in the winter! Plan to visit during this unusual time.
