The Cutting Garden, located east of the Hudson Residence, is a small area featuring plants suitable for cutting in one form or another. Located near the blue spruces planted by King and Evelyn Hudson in the early 1940s, this Garden provides not only the pleasure of gardening, but the added satisfaction of making beautiful arrangements from their harvest.

This small garden is a demonstration of a small landscape, an education on the diversity of plant material that can be grown in Colorado, and an opportunity for the artist or photographer to delight in its beauty.
