Located on the lower level of The Gardens, this slow-to-mature planting surrounds a handful of Cottonwoods that were left behind by the great flood of June 1965. The Willow Walk by
The Wetlands is composed of Prairie Cascade (Salix) trees. From the south, White Spire Birches create a dazzling reflection at the northern end of the main pool.
The Deciduous Woodland is home to a few unusual species such as Weeping Beech (Fagus), Turkish Hazel (Corylus) and the large-leafed Indian Bean Tree (Catalpa).
A large drift of 4,000 daffodils adds spring color to this stately Garden area.
