...adjacent to The Gardens...

The Mary Carter Greenway is adjacent to, but not part of, The Gardens. It includes an eight-mile multi-use trail and whitewater boating facilities along the South Platte River in Arapahoe County. An integral part of the central spine of the Denver Metro Area greenway system, it is enjoyed by more than 700,000 users each year.

The trail is named after Mary Carter, who led the South Suburban Park Foundation for several critical years. More info at www.sspf.org/projects/MCproject.htm.
