Concert FAQ’s

...What to know before you go...

Dance, picnic, enjoy the scenery!

How do I buy tickets? Where do I park? What can I bring? Should I leave my dog at home? Do you serve alcohol?

Check out our concert policies before you come so that you and others will enjoy the concert.


How can I purchase tickets?

  • Tickets may be purchased online at shop.hudsongardens.org, via telephone (303.797.8565 x321) or at our Gift Shop from 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Saturday and on Sunday from 9 AM until 3 PM. Remember, there are no shipping or handling charges when ordering online!
  • Tickets are available online until noon on the day before the performance at shop.hudsongardens.org, and as always, shipping and handling on online orders are free!

  • You may purchase tickets in person Monday through Saturday from 9 am until 5 pm in our Gift Shop, and from 9 AM until 3 PM on the day of the performance. Pre-sales in the Gift Shop end at 3:00 PM on the day of the concert if the concert is not sold out.
  • You may purchase tickets via telephone at 303.797.8565 x321 Monday through Saturday from 9 am until 5 pm in our Gift Shop, and from 9 AM until 3 PM on the day of the performance. Handling and shipping charges apply for all phone orders except those placed on the day of the performance. On the day of the concert, phone orders cease at 3 pm.
  • Cash, VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit cards and personal checks are accepted for ticket purchases made in person. We honor VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit cards for phone orders and VISA and Mastercard for online orders.
  • You may purchase tickets at the gate provided the concert is not sold out.
  • All concert tickets are rain or shine; no refunds or exchanges.

I am a Perennial Club member. May I pick up my free tickets at the gate?

  • Free tickets must be requested 48 hours prior to the concert. Free tickets may not be distributed at the concert gates or on the day of the concert.

What kind of seating is available at concerts?

  • Seating for all concerts is general admission lawn seating, first-come, first-served. There are no reserved sections.
  • Bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on.
  • There is a “blanket seating only” area directly in front of the stage which is limited to blankets and seat cushions only. Frameless chairs with cushions that rest flat on the grass are also allowed in this area. Chairs with legs and frames, regardless of height, are not allowed in this area.
  • Lawn chairs are allowed in non-blanket seating areas only. As a courtesy to other guests, please refrain from tall-back chairs which may obstruct the views of other guests.

Where do I park?

  • A limited number of handicapped parking spaces are available in front of the Gift Shop.
  • Park at The Gardens, at Arapahoe Community College directly across the street from Hudson Gardens, or at the Denver Seminary south of The Gardens.

Is smoking allowed?

  • The Hudson Gardens & Event Center is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is not allowed on the grounds of our 30-acre garden.

Are food and beverage options available for purchase at the concerts?

  • Hudson Gardens is proud to partner with Lenny’s Sub Shop – www.lennys.com – as our partner in food service at the Garden Grille. Mouth-watering cold and hot subs, chips, ice cream, soda, water, cookies and popcorn are available for purchase.
  • Beer and wine are available at the Garden Grille, the satellite area, and at Budweiser bottle carts around the perimeter of the seating area.

Can I bring in my own food and beverages?

  • Although we have a great selection of mouth-watering food available at The Hudson Gardens, you may bring in your own food.
  • Beverages are limited to one 20 oz. or smaller factory-sealed water bottle per person.
  • Please, no cans, bottles or thermoses.

  • One 20-ounce or less factory-sealed water bottle per person
  • Coolers
  • Cloth bags
  • Picnic baskets
  • Lawn chairs (for use in non-blanket seating areas)
  • Umbrellas
  • Blankets
  • Strollers
    NOTE: All carry-in items are subject to inspection.
     

NOT ALLOWED:

  • Alcoholic beverages (may be purchased at concession stands)
  • Cans, bottles or thermoses
  • Glass containers of any kind
  • Any vessel containing liquid other than one 20-ounce or less factory-sealed water bottle per person
  • Tall chairs or large umbrellas that can obscure the view of the people behind you
  • Pets (with the exception of service animals)
  • Cigarettes, cigars or pipes
  • Bicycles, in-line skates, skateboards, scooters
  • Video/audio recording devices
  • Weapons
  • Sharp or dangerous items
  • Fireworks
  • Laser pointers
  • Controlled substances
  • Tents and banners
  • Advertising materials
  • Vending
  • Grills
