Ever wondered why the oak trees don’t have acorns? Or who the
Hudsons were, and why The Gardens are named for their family? The new cell phone
audio tour answers these questions, and much more. It provides the perfect
solution for those wanting to learn more about The Gardens’ more subtle
features, in a personalized format that allows visitors to control what they
hear, what order they hear it in, and how long they listen.

The cell phone audio tour is simple to use and costs nothing more than minutes
from one’s cell phone plan. It is available daily, and is accessible both on and
off-site. Follow these instructions to access the tour:
- Dial 303-209-5748
- A cell phone symbol can be found near selected sites throughout the
Gardens. When seeing this symbol, a cell phone audio tour prompt is available
for that feature. Enter the prompt number listed on the sign, followed by the
pound key (#) to listen to the information. The prompts can also be found on
the visitor handout, which can be picked up in the Gift Shop upon entering The
Gardens or by
downloading the visitor handout now.
- Enter another prompt number at any time—there is no need to wait until the
end of the recording before entering another prompt number.
