Explore The Gardens with your students at your own pace. Teachers are welcome to bring their own activities and lessons to aid in the field trip experience.

 

Availability: Tuesday - Friday, year-round for groups with fewer than 30 students.

Duration: Varies; visits typically last from one to two and half hours.

Pricing: $2/student. One chaperone per ten students is required and included in student pricing. Additional chaperones are $1 each.

Teacher-Guided Activity Packs 

Choose from seven different Hudson Explorers activity packs. Teachers and chaperones lead groups through activities ranging from a frog safari, to a plant adventure, to a wild nature hunt!

The Buzz about Bees Guided Program

Learn how important bees and other pollinators are to humans and plants during this guided field trip program. Students will have the opportunity to explore the various stages of the honeybee life cycle and the intricacies of pollination and honey production. This field trip includes a visit to the Apiary to see honeybees in action!

 

Availability: Tuesday – Friday, May – October

Grade: Preschool – High School; content can be tailored to your group’s needs and abilities.

Duration: Approximately 60-75 minutes. Please feel free to explore Hudson Gardens before or after your program.

Pricing: $150 per 60 minute program (maximum of 30 students). $5 per each additional student (maximum of 10 additional students). One chaperone per 10 students is included in the pricing; additional chaperones are $1 each. Program fees include full-day admission to Hudson Gardens. A $20 deposit is due at the time of reservation. The deposit will be applied to the total program cost and the remaining fees will be due upon arrival.

Reservations: Required at least one month prior to the requested program date.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received at least seven days in advance of your scheduled program to receive a refund of the deposit. Non-weather related cancellations made with less than seven days’ notice will forfeit the deposit. In the event that Hudson Gardens or the visiting school cancels the program due to inclement weather, attempts will be made to reschedule the program for a later date.
