During the winter months, dealing with the long, cold, dark days can be challenging as it affects our mood, leading to the “winter blues.” Join our workshop to explore herbs that can assist our nervous system and specifically boost our spirits. You will have the opportunity to create a tea and a tincture using these herbs to take home with you.

About the Instructor:
Hello…I am Kirsten Dehmlow. I am a daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. Flowers and herbs have been an interest of mine for as long as I can remember. Everywhere I have lived I have found a plot of dirt to plant. During my first pregnancy I began building my library of books on using herbs. In the summer of 2020 I began my official training to become a community herbalist. I am dedicated to continue growing and learning how herbs heal and provide support physically, emotionally and spiritually.
I have been a childbirth educator for over 15 years and have also worked as a labor doula for many years. I was the Parent Education Coordinator at a hospital in Denver for over 13 years. I love educating and supporting families and am excited to add my knowledge of herbs as a focus of support.
Helping women as they enter and progress through life transitions has been a continual focus in my work. Now I love adding herbs and Maya abdominal therapy as additional nourishing support. I offer one on one consultations, classes and herbal products: teas, tinctures, salves and essential oils.
