McCory focuses on simple\, practical techniques that bypass technical intimidation to build your confidence and spark your creativity. \nWhat kind of equipment should I bring?\nBring whatever camera you love to use—including your phone. Photography is about how you see\, not just what you shoot with. The concepts McCory teaches apply beautifully to all types of gear. If you have a tripod or filters (like a polarizing or neutral density filter)\, feel free to bring them along\, but they are completely optional! \nAre these workshops hands-on or lecture-based?\nThey are a deliberate mix of both. SUMMARY:All Ages Watercolor Painting | Level 1\, November Series
DESCRIPTION:Mondays\, Nov. 2-30. Pricing includes registration for all sessions. \nThis Level 1 watercolor class at Hudson Gardens is a gentle introduction to painting for all ages. Families will learn basic watercolor techniques\, explore color and brushwork\, and create simple\, nature-inspired paintings together in a relaxed\, supportive setting. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a love of creating side by side. \nClass fee admits one person to the class. On the first day of class\, first-time students will be provided one piece of watercolor paper\, shared paints\, shared palettes\, shared brushes\, and water containers. All provided materials except your paper remain onsite and cannot be brought home. Returning students should bring their own supplies. \nParticipants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Individuals over the age of 16 may sign up alone or with family members.
