SUMMARY:Gongfu Tea Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:Please Join Judy Thurman\, a practitioner of  sound therapy\, Qigong\, and classic Chinese medicine as she leads you through a Gongfu Tea Ceremony. \nGongfu tea is a traditional Chinese tea ceremony that dates back to the Song Dynasty and is known for its elegance\, simplicity\, and focus on the sensory experience of tea. \nDuring the ceremony\, Judy will brew a high-quality Chinese tea using traditional Gongfu tea brewing techniques. The tea is served in small\, Yixing clay cups\, allowing participants to savor the flavors and aromas of the tea. \nAs we enjoy tea together\, guests will be guided through each step with a true sensory experience\, including the appearance\, aroma\, and taste of the tea. Judy will also be sharing ancient stories of wisdom from the sages as well as playing a few singing bowls to round out the experience. \n  \nAbout Judy Thurman \n“My journey into this world began when my body was literally aching for a healthier lifestyle. As I started seeing traditional western medicine practitioners for treatments\, I intuitively knew that I wanted to follow a more holistic\, gentle approach. This led me to studying ancient Eastern practices where I learned how to balance life force energy in the body through movement\, sound\, nutrition\, acupressure\, meditation\, and other modalities. \nIt has now been over 20 years that I’ve been living in my purpose and helping people of all ages around the world heal\, learn\, and grow. I love guiding people to follow their true nature.” \nTo learn more about Judy and her private practice as well as other events\, please check out her website: https: judythurman.com

SUMMARY:Herbal Dreaming
DESCRIPTION:Having trouble drifting off or wishing your dreams were more vivid and memorable? \n\nIn this workshop we will explore herbs long cherished for their ability to calm the mind\, ease the body into rest\, and gently enhance dream recall. Through guided exploration and hands-on crafting\, you’ll blend your own aromatic dream pillow filled with botanicals chosen for their relaxing and dream-inviting qualities. Leave with a beautiful\, custom-made sleep companion—and a deeper understanding of the plants that support restorative nights and meaningful dreams. \nAbout the Instructor: \nHello…I am Kirsten Dehmlow. I am a daughter\, wife\, mother and grandmother. Flowers and herbs have been an interest of mine for as long as I can remember. Everywhere I have lived I have found a plot of dirt to plant. During my first pregnancy I began building my library of books on using herbs. In the summer of 2020 I began my official training to become a community herbalist. I am dedicated to continue growing and learning how herbs heal and provide support physically\, emotionally and spiritually. \nI have been a childbirth educator for over 15 years and have also worked as a labor doula for many years. I was the Parent Education Coordinator at a hospital in Denver for over 13 years. I love educating and supporting families and am excited to add my knowledge of herbs as a focus of support. \nHelping women as they enter and progress through life transitions has been a continual focus in my work. Now I love adding herbs and Maya abdominal therapy as additional nourishing support. I offer one on one consultations\, classes and herbal products: teas\, tinctures\, salves and essential oils. \nCheckout her website to learn more: underthelindentreeco.com

SUMMARY:Qigong Movement Series
DESCRIPTION:This unique program combines the ancient practice of Qigong with the healing power of sound\, offering a transformative experience for both body and mind. Through a gentle series of Qigong movements\, participants will learn to cultivate energy\, enhance flexibility\, and restore balance to their bodies. As participants become attuned to their body’s energy\, they will feel a sense of grounded calm and mental clarity. \nFollowing the movement practice\, participants will be immersed in a soothing sound bath\, where healing sounds from instruments such as singing bowls\, gongs\, and chimes will create an environment of deep relaxation. The frequencies produced by the sound bath will further amplify the benefits of the Qigong practice\, aiding in emotional release\, mental rejuvenation\, and physical healing. \nThis program is ideal for individuals seeking to reduce stress\, increase vitality\, and connect with their inner peace in a deeply restorative and nurturing way. No prior experience in Qigong or sound therapy is required\, as the session is accessible to all levels. \nParticipants will leave feeling more centered\, balanced\, and refreshed\, carrying the calm energy of the practice into their daily lives.
