Whether you are new to birding or an experienced birder\, there is always something exciting to see through your binoculars! \nThis walk will be held outdoors\, so please dress for the weather. Participants will meet in front of the Welcome Center by 8 am. Bring snacks\, water\, and a pair of binoculars. \nEarly registration is strongly encouraged as participation is limited. DESCRIPTION:Please Join Judy Thurman\, a practitioner of  sound therapy\, Qigong\, and classic Chinese medicine as she leads you through a Gongfu Tea Ceremony. \nGongfu tea is a traditional Chinese tea ceremony that dates back to the Song Dynasty and is known for its elegance\, simplicity\, and focus on the sensory experience of tea. \nDuring the ceremony\, Judy will brew a high-quality Chinese tea using traditional Gongfu tea brewing techniques. The tea is served in small\, Yixing clay cups\, allowing participants to savor the flavors and aromas of the tea. \nAs we enjoy tea together\, guests will be guided through each step with a true sensory experience\, including the appearance\, aroma\, and taste of the tea. DESCRIPTION:Mondays\, Nov. 2-30. Pricing includes registration for all sessions. \nThis Level 1 watercolor class at Hudson Gardens is a gentle introduction to painting for all ages. Families will learn basic watercolor techniques\, explore color and brushwork\, and create simple\, nature-inspired paintings together in a relaxed\, supportive setting. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a love of creating side by side. \nClass fee admits one person to the class. On the first day of class\, first-time students will be provided one piece of watercolor paper\, shared paints\, shared palettes\, shared brushes\, and water containers. All provided materials except your paper remain onsite and cannot be brought home. Returning students should bring their own supplies. \nParticipants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Individuals over the age of 16 may sign up alone or with family members.

We will learn the 7 Principles of Leave No Trace through movement and art. Our program focuses on experiential learning in nature. Activities and explorations take place outdoors unless the weather is unsafe\, in which case there is an indoor backup. \nJoin naturalists for guided\, hands-on science learning during a time set aside for homeschoolers or at-home learners\, ages 5-10. This series will enable participants to go in-depth with each week building upon previous sessions.
