SUMMARY:Qigong Movement and Sound Bath with Judy Thurman
DESCRIPTION:This unique program combines the ancient practice of Qigong with the healing power of sound\, offering a transformative experience for both body and mind. Through a gentle series of Qigong movements\, participants will learn to cultivate energy\, enhance flexibility\, and restore balance to their bodies. These mindful movements\, rooted in Chinese traditions\, are designed to promote the flow of Qi (life force energy) throughout the body\, helping to release tension\, reduce stress\, and improve overall well-being. \nThe session will begin with a guided Qigong practice\, focusing on deep breathing and fluid\, graceful movements that encourage relaxation and mindfulness. As participants become attuned to their body’s energy\, they will feel a sense of grounded calm and mental clarity. \nFollowing the movement practice\, participants will be immersed in a soothing sound bath\, where healing sounds from instruments such as singing bowls\, gongs\, and chimes will create an environment of deep relaxation. The frequencies produced by the sound bath will further amplify the benefits of the Qigong practice\, aiding in emotional release\, mental rejuvenation\, and physical healing. \nThis program is ideal for individuals seeking to reduce stress\, increase vitality\, and connect with their inner peace in a deeply restorative and nurturing way. No prior experience in Qigong or sound therapy is required\, as the session is accessible to all levels. \nParticipants will leave feeling more centered\, balanced\, and refreshed\, carrying the calm energy of the practice into their daily lives. \n  \nAbout Judy Thurman \n“My journey into this world began when my body was literally aching for a healthier lifestyle. As I started seeing traditional western medicine practitioners for treatments\, I intuitively knew that I wanted to follow a more holistic\, gentle approach. This led me to studying ancient Eastern practices where I learned how to balance life force energy in the body through movement\, sound\, nutrition\, acupressure\, meditation\, and other modalities. \nIt has now been over 20 years that I’ve been living in my purpose and helping people of all ages around the world heal\, learn\, and grow. I love guiding people to follow their true nature.” \nTo learn more about Judy and her private practice as well as other events\, please check out her website: judythurman.com

SUMMARY:Bud's Birdhouses | Trunk Show
DESCRIPTION:“If I were a bird\, I would live in this one.” That’s one of the most common reactions people have when they see Bud’s work. \nBud began making birdhouses about 16 years ago\, and today creates more than 500 each year. Every piece is handcrafted from used and recycled materials\, making each birdhouse completely one of a kind. His work blends art and whimsy\, with thoughtful details that invite closer inspection. Working with reclaimed materials and imaginative designs has become a deeply rewarding practice\, and Bud especially enjoys seeing visitors discover the small details—and hearing from customers who later share photos of birds happily living in their houses.
