These mindful movements\, rooted in Chinese traditions\, are designed to promote the flow of Qi (life force energy) throughout the body\, helping to release tension\, reduce stress\, and improve overall well-being. \nThe session will begin with a guided Qigong practice\, focusing on deep breathing and fluid\, graceful movements that encourage relaxation and mindfulness. As participants become attuned to their body’s energy\, they will feel a sense of grounded calm and mental clarity. \nFollowing the movement practice\, participants will be immersed in a soothing sound bath\, where healing sounds from instruments such as singing bowls\, gongs\, and chimes will create an environment of deep relaxation. The frequencies produced by the sound bath will further amplify the benefits of the Qigong practice\, aiding in emotional release\, mental rejuvenation\, and physical healing. \nThis program is ideal for individuals seeking to reduce stress\, increase vitality\, and connect with their inner peace in a deeply restorative and nurturing way. DESCRIPTION:Mondays\, Oct. 5-26. Pricing includes registration for all sessions. \nThis Level 1 watercolor class at Hudson Gardens is a gentle introduction to painting for all ages. Families will learn basic watercolor techniques\, explore color and brushwork\, and create simple\, nature-inspired paintings together in a relaxed\, supportive setting. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a love of creating side by side. \nClass fee admits one person to the class. On the first day of class\, first-time students will be provided one piece of watercolor paper\, shared paints\, shared palettes\, shared brushes\, and water containers. All provided materials except your paper remain onsite and cannot be brought home. Returning students should bring their own supplies. \nParticipants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Individuals over the age of 16 may sign up alone or with family members.
