I am a daughter\, wife\, mother and grandmother. Flowers and herbs have been an interest of mine for as long as I can remember. Everywhere I have lived I have found a plot of dirt to plant. During my first pregnancy I began building my library of books on using herbs. In the summer of 2020 I began my official training to become a community herbalist. I am dedicated to continue growing and learning how herbs heal and provide support physically\, emotionally and spiritually. \nI have been a childbirth educator for over 15 years and have also worked as a labor doula for many years. I was the Parent Education Coordinator at a hospital in Denver for over 13 years. You’ll leave with insights into local wildlife\, birding techniques\, identification tips\, and much more! Whether you are new to birding or an experienced birder\, there is always something exciting to see through your binoculars! \nThis walk will be held outdoors\, so please dress for the weather. Participants will meet in front of the Welcome Center by 8 am. Bring snacks\, water\, and a pair of binoculars. \nEarly registration is strongly encouraged as participation is limited. Class size is limited to 12 participants. \n  \nAbout the Front Range Birding Company \nOwners Dave & Lori Kwasnick not only run the Front Range Birding Company to sell feeders\, fresh seed\, optics\, guides\, and more\, but are passionate about continuing to develop a community hub with like-minded nature lovers of all ages\, and birders from beginner to expert. SUMMARY:Kids Nature Clubhouse at Hudson Gardens
DESCRIPTION:Explore nature at Hudson Gardens. New activities each day including exploring ponds\, exploring the Apiary while Hudson Gardens’ beekeepers are working to observe live\, active beehives\, catching bugs\, discovering all the different types of gardens\, gold panning and more! Kids get to explore\, play\, journal\, and make new friends. All gear is provided. \nEach morning\, we begin with an icebreaker. Then we move locations to a different areas and participate in fun activities. While we are out\, we make sure to have a snack and journal about what we did that day. Towards the end of the camp\, we walk back and wrap up the day.  \nKids are given a hat\, journal\, and binoculars that we will keep at the end of each day. On Friday they will be able to take all of these items home.  \nAll details about what to bring\, where to meet and more are included on the registration receipt. \nDue to the popularity of this program\, and the time/planning commitment\, cancellations within 1 week will only be refunded if a replacement participant is registered.
