Will Santa be at the event?
Yes! Santa will be located in the Pavilion and it is free to come meet him and take a photo. Santa will be at Hudson Holidays on event nights through Dec 23 from 5-9 pm. On Dec 24, Santa will be off delivering gifts, so Santa’s Elves will visit.
You can opt to see him before or after you walk through the light show. While you are there don’t forget to write a letter to Santa and leave it in the ‘Letters to Santa’ mailbox or color a picture while you warm up. Hot cocoa and adult beverages are also available inside the tent.
Are tickets timed?
Tickets are not timed. Guests can redeem their tickets anytime during event hours on their reserved day (or any one day of their choosing if they purchase Any Day Tickets). No re-entry.
When do doors open and close? When do lights turn off?
Doors open at 5 PM. Lights are out at 9:00 pm. Tickets can be redeemed from 5-8:30 pm.
Where can I purchase tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online and at the door (unless sold out).

What if I can’t make it due to illness or other reason?
To change your date, please email specialevents@hudsongardens.org. There is a $10 date change fee per order.
We have a large group that wants to attend. How do we purchase tickets?
Can my work host their holiday party at Hudson Gardens? What about small gatherings?
We would love to host your holiday party or family get togethers. We still have openings for all levels of holiday gatherings available at Hudson Gardens. Email specialevents@hudsongardens.org for renting both small and large venues. Ask about discounts on rentals with light show ticket purchases.
Is there free event parking and where should I park?
Parking is free at both Hudson Gardens and our overflow lots at Arapahoe Community College and the Denver Seminary.
Professional Photography
While we welcome all guests to enjoy the show and capture memories, professional photography sessions, such as engagement or posed portraits, are not permitted during the event. You are welcome to take non-professional photos to remember the experience.
What is the weather policy?
All tickets are final and cannot be exchanged or refunded regardless of weather, unless the event is cancelled. If an event date is cancelled, guests will be notified via the email used to purchase their tickets, and Hudson Gardens will issue guests an Any Day ticket to redeem on any one night for the remainder of the show.
What items are not allowed?
The following items are not permitted:
- Outside food or drinks including alcoholic beverages
- Pets with the exception of documented service animals
- Bicycles, in-line skates, skateboards, scooters, and hoverboards
- Unlawful weapons
- Drones and other remote-controlled flying devices
Is the venue ADA accessible?
Yes. The entrances, trails, exits, and restrooms are ADA accessible.
Are wheelchairs or scooters available?
Hudson Gardens does not have wheelchairs or scooters available to borrow or rent.
Will there be ADA parking?
ADA parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parking attendants on site will direct you to the closest, ADA-accessible parking spaces. There will be a designated drop-off area at the entrance if parking is not available in the Hudson Gardens lot. Use the Denver Seminary entrance (W. Weaver Ave.) to enter for ADA Parking or Drop-Off.
Are there low sensory options?
Yes. Dec.1 and Jan. 2 will be low sensory shows. During these evenings, guests can expect the same spectacular light displays, but with modifications to make it a more sensory-supportive environment.
Here’s what to expect:
- Limited ticket numbers will be sold for smaller crowds.
- Strobe effects, flashing, movement, and blinking will be reduced or eliminated if applicable.
- Music and other stimuli will be at a minimum.
- A limited sensory room or quiet room will be available along the pathway to reduce sensory overload.
We recommend bringing along any items that will improve your experience, including noise canceling headphones, sunglasses, soothing items, etc.
