The Inn

The Inn is our historic log cabin built by King and Evelyn Hudson in 1941. For many years, the Inn operated as a restaurant before eventually turning into one of our most beloved event venues. The Inn is surrounded by striking evergreen trees year-round and colorful blooms in the spring and summer. Additional space is available in the Inn’s backyard for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, and more.

Bloom Room

The Bloom Room is our newest venue and has quickly become a favorite, with its rustic chic style that includes beautiful natural wood beams and trusses, wrap-around windows, and walls that roll up for an open-air or an enclosed experience. Party the night away underneath its color-changing floating halo and wall sconces.

Pavilion

This classic, open-air reception venue provides a timeless setting for events. The Pavilion is often paired with Monet’s Place for the perfect garden wedding. Enjoy cocktail hour on the back greenspace overlooking the gardens, and enjoy the space as an open-air or enclosed experience.

Monet’s Place

Monet’s Place was inspired by French gardens depicted in Claude Monet’s ‘Bridge Over a Pond of Water Lilies.’ This space is one of our most popular wedding ceremony sites and is also commonly used for proposals, outdoor corporate events, and cocktail hours.

Overlook

The Overlook is a secluded space tucked between the Cascades and Conifer Grove. This beautiful, private space is perfect for outdoor cocktail hours, ceremonies, and small gatherings.

Rose Garden

This popular wedding ceremony site backs to our rose garden and a beautiful oval fountain. The Rose Garden is maintained by an experienced group of local volunteers and typically sees 1-2 periods of bloom throughout the growing season.

South Lawn

The expansive South Lawn is available for large-scale private events including corporate picnics, church gatherings, fun runs, and more. This beautiful space is surrounded by evergreen trees and has garden and mountain views.

Colorado Room

Create a memorable experience in our charming Business Residence and former home of the Hudson family. The Colorado Room is our largest meeting space in the business residence, perfect for client meetings, corporate retreats, small parties, and more.

Event Policies and FAQs

50% of the rental fee is due with a signed contract. This fee is non-refundable. A $500 damage deposit and the full balance are due at least thirty days prior to the event. 

Pricing includes:

  • Tables and chairs
  • Two dressing areas
  • One catering preparation area
  • Parking (open to the public year-round)

To give you complete freedom to design a day that truly reflects your vision, catering, bar services, linens, décor, and all other vendors are selected separately. This allows you to customize every detail, from food and drinks to style and atmosphere. We are happy to share our trusted vendor recommendations to help make the planning process seamless.

To help us prepare for your visit, all organized events must receive prior approval from the Hudson Gardens Events Team. Groups without approval may be subject to a rental fee or asked to relocate based on availability. Please contact us through the Event Inquiry & Reservation Form to secure approval.

Limited parking is included with all private rentals on a first-come, first-served basis.

Only licensed service animals are allowed at Hudson Gardens. Dogs may be permitted during booked wedding ceremonies if guests obtain prior approval.

We are able to place a complementary seven day hold on venues. After this period, your venue is not secured until a contract is signed, and a non-refundable 50% deposit has been received. We rent our venues on a first-come, first-served basis. Our events team will keep you informed on venue availability throughout the process.

Yes, for all weddings you must hire a professional day-of coordinator. You may select from our list of preferred vendors or select your own. 

If you have booked an event with us, you are not required to pay an additional photography fee. If you have not reserved a space at the gardens, you must reserve a photography permit here. 

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, the following alcohol policies apply to all private events at Hudson Gardens:

  • Alcohol is not permitted in any public areas, including parking lots.
  • Alcoholic beverages may only be served to guests 21 years of age or older. Bartenders are required to check valid IDs for anyone who appears under 40.
  • Cash bars are not permitted.
  • Beer may be served in cans or plastic bottles (preferred). Glass bottles are allowed. Kegs are permitted only with prior written approval. Glass bottles are not allowed.
  • Spirits may be served only with a mixer. Shots, as well as spirits served “neat” or “on the rocks,” are not permitted.
  • Event vendors and staff are not permitted to consume alcohol while working.
  • A “soft close” of the bar (closing without announcement) must occur 30 minutes prior to the event end time.
  • Hudson Gardens Management and licensed alcohol servers reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to any guest who appears to be intoxicated.
  • Failure to comply with these alcohol policies may result in immediate bar closure.
  • Failure to adhere to venue policies may result in the loss of clients’ full damage deposit.

The client agrees to adhere to the following Hudson Gardens decoration policies:

  • All decorating, setup, and teardown must take place within your scheduled rental window.
  • Tossing or releasing items such as flowers, flower petals, birdseed, rice, confetti, or glitter is not permitted.
  • Sparklers, fireworks, and Chinese lanterns are strictly prohibited.
  • Tape, nails, tacks, staples, or any other fasteners may not be used indoors or outdoors anywhere on Hudson Gardens property.
  • No staking allowed.
  • Balloons must be securely tied down and properly disposed of at the conclusion of your event. Balloon releases are not permitted.
  • Decorations and lighting may not be attached to plants or placed in or on plant containers.
  • Hudson Gardens is unable to accept deliveries on behalf of clients. All deliveries must be scheduled and received within your rental window.
  • Open flames are not permitted. This includes flame candles, incense, and sage.
  • **Failure to adhere to venue policies may result in the loss of clients’ full damage deposit.
